Involving Parents

• It is important for the teachers to communicate all events in the classroom with the parents.
• Before parents are involved- observations should be made and discussions between manager and teacher
• Be professional.
• Remember that the parent might be hearing this about their child for the first time
• Be sensitive
• Approach the conversation with a plan in place- be clear and sure of it!
