Mark making is not just the use of paper, pencils and crayons although these are the obvious ones. It could be a combination of sand, soil, water, foam, chalk, paint

Mark-making is crucial for a child’s development and learning. it allows them to express their feelings as well as develop fine and gross motor skill, imagination and creative skills.
