Interaction with News Media

• All calls from the news media are to be directed to the Nursery Manager.
• No staff in the Nursery can enter any discussion with anyone from the media in any way.
• If media personnel arrive on site uninvited, staff are to direct them to the Nursery Office and requested not to take pictures, videos, or speak to employees, children, or parents until they have spoken to the Nursery Manager.
• In the unlikely event that the media do not comply with these requests, the incident should be documented, and Nursery Manager must be there to assist.
• Staff must remain calm; no aggressive gestures and phrases are to be used.
