Floor time, freedom & movement

  • Babies should be allowed to move freely.
  • Lots of time on the floor – front and back (supervision is a must!).
  • Baby seats, buggies and walkers restrict movement & development.
  • Walking children should be physically active for 180min a day.
  • Lots of movements & sensory experiences are needed for proprioceptors to give right information to the brain.
